Congratulations to Vasishta Burugula for taking First Place for his poster at the NC State Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduate Student Association Research Symposium. His research focuses on Solid State Transformers and specifically on improving DC-link voltage balancing. “I tried to make the poster readable for a general electrical engineer and also to illustrate how this research differs from state-of-the-art approaches,” said Vasishta. “The whole event gave me an opportunity to communicate my work with a wider audience.” Vasishta is also the current President of the FREEDM Student Leadership Council.
