SUMMARY:LF Energy Technical Architecture Workshop (FREE!)
DESCRIPTION:  \nLF Energy is hosting a free Technical Architecture Workshop on July 8 via Zoom. This workshop is a creative\, online event geared towards enterprise architects\, power systems engineers\, and developers. The goal is to share the progress on the technical\, functional\, security\, and data architectures that will guide the LF Energy community. The workshop agenda includes sessions on security\, substation communications\, digital twins\, and more. \nFREEDM will join a breakout session on Microgrids and Virtual Power Plants where we will discuss software needs for microgrid control and discuss the capabilities of RIAPS and other open source platforms. This event is intended as an “un-conference” with fewer presentations and more discussion and debate. All attendees to the microgrid session will have an opportunity to share their thoughts through a group document. Our goal is to show how open source can grow your microgrid business.
