Dr. Li’s research interests include bi-directional dc-dc converters, cascaded multilevel inverter, advanced digital control technique applied on hybrid electric vehicles and renewable energy generation. Dr. Li is a member of the IEEE Industry Application Society and Power Electronics Society. She received an NSF Career Award in 2007. She joined the Center for Advanced Power Systems in 2002 as an assistant scholar scientist. She is also an associate professor in the Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering.
