FREEDM Architecture Working Group

Overview

The purpose of the FREEDM Architecture Working Group (FAWG) is to document the most current design architecture of the FREEDM system, and promote an understanding of the system architecture through development and dissemination of centralized resources. The primary output is a living article, colloquially referred to as a “Wiki”, which provides an overview of the system; this allows anyone interested in FREEDM to learn more, and students entering the Center to see how their work contributes to the effort as a whole. Other accomplishments include the creation of repositories of algorithms used in the Green Energy Hub (GEH) testbed, and development of web-based simulations that provide in-depth examination of FREEDM components beyond the information provided on the Wiki.
